GenVantage | Monthly Update
From the Desk of the Team
Trust, for an enterprise buyer, isn't a claim — it's a certification. September was about closing the gap between what GenVantage says about its security posture and what it can independently prove.
GenVantage lined up for ISO-27001 and SOC-2 Type II audit attestation, formal, independently verified standards for information security management and operational controls.
These aren't informal commitments — they're audited attestations that enterprise buyers, particularly in regulated industries like insurance and finance, increasingly require before they'll engage at all. Pursuing both signals GenVantage is building its compliance posture to the standard its customers actually operate under.
Alongside the audit process, GenVantage selected KnowBe4 as its Security Awareness Training (SAT) platform, adhering to the strict training standards these attestations require.
Certifications don't just test systems — they test people. Ongoing security awareness training ensures the team maintains the operational discipline the certifications are built to verify, not just at audit time, but continuously.
